  • C Lib: 40

Eligibility:

        M.L.I.Sc.- A candidate should possess any bachelor's degree with 50% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST & Cat I and 45% for OBC candidates) obtained from any recognized University.

    C  Lib Sc.- A candidate should have passed SSLC/Xth  standard of Govt. of Karnataka or its thereto, shall be eligible for admission to C Lib Sc course.

  •         Best suited curriculum with required orientation to ICT applications based on employers’ expectations.
  •         Internship, Project work, and Study Tour are part of the curriculum.
  •         The class rooms are well equipped with modern teaching gadgets like LCD, Digital boards, latest editions of DDC, UDC, AACR2R.
  •         First department on the campus to have digital class room equipped with smart-board, scanner and e-podium including digital board in the Lecture Halls
  •          IT Lab with 30 computers provided with different Library Software’s installed on the systems.
  •          High definition barcode printer, scanner, printing and Xerox machines available for use
  •         Prof A K Baradol Study scholarship is awarded every year to a student who joins MLISc course with highest marks at degree level.
  •         Late (Smt) Sadhana Venkatesh Toragal Gold medal is awarded to a student who passes MLISc with highest marks.
